- Nigeria Afrobeat Super Star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has won the Digital Artist of the Year at the 2022 Headies Awards.
The “Fall” crooner was nominated for the Award Category alongside with Burna Boy, CKay, Joeboy, Rema, and Wizkid.
The 2022 Headies Awards Edition which was hosted in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on 4th September 2022, made the announcement via their social media account after the award wasn’t presented during the award ceremony.
Davido fends off strong competition from some of the best selling Nigerian artist to win the first installment of the award which was introduced as part of the new categories as the 2022 Headies Awards.
